Julia Marczuk-Macidłowska
Julia Marczuk-Macidłowska is a Polish composer, pianist, and producer. She studied composition at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, with a particular interest in electronic and film music. Her work encompasses acoustic and electroacoustic music, multimedia projects, and interdisciplinary activities. In 2024, she won Second Prize at the 3rd International Henryk Mikołaj Górecki Composition Competition for her piece Dilectus meus mihi, et ego illi. Her compositions have been presented at venues and events including the Krzysztof Penderecki European Music Centre, the Copernicus Science Centre Planetarium, and events accompanying the Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.
